Art can be intense. Too intense for many people, turning some off from enjoying museums and galleries. So when it comes to my digital work, I try to be lighthearted aesthetically and put the intensity in my context and subject matter. The joy is in the color and composition, the fun is in the weirdness and oddity, and the goal remains to leave an impression. After all, that’s why we do what we do. Heavily inspired by pop culture, the complexity of masculinity and bigotry, and the odd elements within nature, my compositions are created with borrowed PNG photos and out-of-context photography.
