Bearcast Media is an entirely student-run multimedia outlet located at the University of Cincinnati. Including an internet radio station, talented and dedicated videography and photography team, journalism team, and being the host of our annual local music festival Live on Short Vine, we aim to provide the UC community and beyond with lots of amazing content focused on music, sports, and entertainment.
As Web Content Director and the organization’s Creative Lead, my job consisted of being the website’s editor-in-chief, the organization’s graphic designer, and the point of contact with any issues that occurred with the website’s format. Below are some examples of projects I worked on as well as a selection of videos I produced and edited. The layout and aesthetic has changed since my graduation, but my impact to the brand guide remains.

As the co-creative lead of the organization with Dana Mulvaney, we were able to craft a trend-conscious, unique brand identity with programming that appealed to target audiences, both college students and local tastemakers. From creating a modernized brand guide to commissioning design elements and portraits from students on campus, the objective was and still is to build a strong community with growth in mind. Throughout my time as director, all logos and graphics were made by me with Adobe Photoshop and Premiere.
